the way to a young child’s brain is often through his/her stomach
At a nature kindergarten workshop that I attended in June, one of the many wonderful things that they showed us, was this fun and healthy snack.
I just had to try it with my kidlets. We enjoyed it on our pirate day, and then again on the last day of school.
It was super easy to prepare: fishie crackers, soft cream cheese and pretzel stick in bowls.
step four: eat the catch, the bait and the rod
NO fishing twice with the same rod!
The kidlets LOVED it. Big surprise there.
I'm always looking for reasonably healthy, fun, LOW PREP snacks for my kidlets - any ideas out there?
very cute!
ReplyDeleteI love that snack idea. I'm going to do that in September the first week back. Thanks!
